15 hours per week. Maximum 5 students per class.

Courses commence each Monday with arrival to homestay (if applicable) on the Sunday. Departure from homestay is on the Saturday following the end of the course.

The course includes 15 hours of lessons per week, as well as the option to choose from a selection of optional electives which can be taken during your course.

Communication Skills sessions to build confidence and fluency

Storytelling for Professionals
Develop the art of crafting compelling narratives for pitches, research presentations, or leadership speeches. This class guides students to identify audience and purpose, create emotional connections, and deliver with confidence. Through practical exercises, learners leave with refined storytelling techniques and a stronger professional presence.

Leadership Skills
Sharpen communication skills essential for effective leadership. Explore ethical decision-making, leading in crises, and managing difficult conversations. By the end, students will be equipped to inspire, influence, and guide with clarity and confidence.

Mediation of Ideas and Language
Learn to evaluate information critically, summarise complex concepts, and adapt tone for different audiences. This class develops the ability to communicate nuanced ideas clearly - an essential skill for academic, professional, and global contexts.

Spoken Persuasiveness and Assertiveness
Master the art of persuasion using rhetoric, structured argumentation, and confident delivery. Students practise vocal variety, body language, and audience engagement to become convincing and self-assured speakers.

Presenting with Impact
Develop polished presentation skills through focused training on message clarity, body language, and vocal expression. With practical assessments, students gain strategies to overcome nerves and deliver with authority and confidence. Following initial presentations, students receive personalised coaching and peer feedback to refine delivery and style. This reflective process ensures lasting progress and a clear plan for continued growth.


Collaborative and Critical Thinking sessions to strengthen global communication skills

Innovation Lab: Entrepreneurship in English
Harness creativity through design sprints, brainstorming sessions, and TED-talk style presentations. This class strengthens problem-solving and idea-pitching skills, enabling students to communicate innovative solutions with clarity and conviction.

Negotiation in English
Engage in dynamic simulations ranging from academic collaborations to business deals. Students learn to manage tension, reach agreements, and make compelling proposals, developing tact and diplomacy in English.

Mastering Collaborative Work
Build essential teamwork skills such as active listening, decision-making, and goal-setting. By simulating professional collaborations, students become effective contributors to diverse, international teams.

Global Issues Roundtable
Discuss topics from sustainability to geopolitics while practising evidence-based reasoning and debate skills. This class fosters cultural awareness and the ability to navigate complex global conversations in English with confidence.
